If you normally use the Steve model, try Alex (Reverse as applicable)
Base a skin on a mythic god/goddess (Greco/Roman, Sumerian, Norse, Aztec) [Recommended to avoid those still worshipped]
Adapt / port a concept from a bestiary (Hobgoblin, Bugbear, Nixie, Mummy) [be sure to exercise your creativity and put your own spin on the idea]
