Creating an RPG server

Hey guys, I'm creating a completely unique RPG Ranger's Apprentice server.
I have already custom world painted a map that is an exact replica of the Ranger's Aprentice series and uploaded it to a 24/7 server. What I need now is builders and people to help me design the server.
Things that need to be decided is how to run the server. Our options are:
Spigot
Forge
Spoutcraft
Wait for sponge
