For custom model for RP you need to create one as json file, then put it as follows assets/minecraft/models/block/coarse_dirt in this case

Good program for minecraft models in my opinion is modeller by MrCrayfish

it's good too, after finished work export it as block model, and rename the file to 'coarse_dirt' : )
