I have re-textured a orange carpet but it keeps flashing between that image and a black one, what do I do? Also is there anyway to just texture the carpet not everything orange wool related?

I'm not sure what to do about the flashing, and I don't think you can give carpets their own textures using just NovaSkin.
Any Ideas?
What app are you using to create the texture pack?
Anyone?
