Custom Texture Pack
Hello! I'm trying to create my own texture pack. I have followed everything to a T; my pcmeta file is correct as are the things inside of it; and I zipped it into a folder. The pack shows up on my menu, but once in game none of the textures are there. Can someone pleeeeease give me some insight on this?
Update: figured it out! Files were just too big lol

Are you sure you're using the right file path?
Apart from that, you need to give more information.
assets/minecraft/textures/(block/item/entity)/FILENAME.pngApart from that, you need to give more information.
Yes, all of those are in the correct file path and are named correctly after I finished editing them.
I'm unsure of what other information to give. I just followed the tutorial on the minecraft wiki page, and there's no other info on why something may not work so I'm at a complete loss. I can send the file your way, all I've changed is the grass and Acacia trees but it won't show up even though the texture pack is loaded into the game and everything

Acacia logs or leaves?
Also, what version are you playing on? The file names and pack.mcmeta have changed with several versions.

I did both to try and see if it would change anything. And I am on 1.14 but I can go to 1.13 if it's easier on that version
I use 1.14, so it wouldn't help if you go to 1.13.
What about pack_format in the MCMETA?
Are you sure the names are right?
Correct Filenames:
Acacia Log:
Acacia Leaves:
Grass (not Grass Block):
Grass Block:
Grass Block Overlay (the part that uses Biome coloration)

Correct Filenames:
Acacia Log:
acacia_log.pngAcacia Leaves:
acacia_leaves.png(make sure to use grayscale for this one, otherwise biome coloration makes it look weird)Grass (not Grass Block):
