Follow these steps:

1. Redownload the resource pack
2. Open Minecraft
3. Click the "Options" button
4. Click the button that says "Resource packs..."
5. Click "Open resource pack folder"
6. Go to your downloads directory and drag the recourse pack file to the resource pack folder.
7. Click the "Done" button in your Minecraft window
8. Click the button that says "Resource packs..." again
9. Now select the resource pack
10. Wait until it has transferred to the column on the right [Do NOT click the window]

If this does not work please paste the error log into a new post.

Possible errors:
- The texture pack resolution is too large

To fix this:
1. Google the resource pack's name
2. Click another website (Not PMC)
3. In the downloads section you might see:

"Resource Pack x16
Resource Pack x32
Resource Pack x64
Resource Pack x128
" ect.

4. Download the one that says: "Resource Pack x16"
5. Repeat first set of instructions at the top of my post, using the new download.
6. Delete the pack downloaded from PMC

If THIS doesn't work...
Please paste error log into new post.
[You can find it in your launcher log/game output ]

EDIT: If it give you an error when moving the file, then google answers concerning errors dragging files

I hope you remembered to put it in the proper directory. Cases like this are usually a really simple oversight. Perhaps you can also say which texturepack. That way I can test to see if it actually has any problems.

Did you extract it? If so don't. Did you use the folders inside the zip? If so don't. Use the default zip file.

There has to be more than just "ERROR".
