Hi! I need help? Does anyone have a default resource pack tempalte for 1.7.2? I need it to update my pack. Thanks!

Doesn't have ANY new textures. No flowers, no double plants, no stained glass, no new saplings or related logs/leaves.
Not 1.7 ready. The .JAR however, always will be updated (provided you download it).

Start Minecraft, go to resource packs menu, click "open resource pack folder".
Go up a folder, to ".minecraft", open "versions" folder, and then "1.7.2".
Right click and "open with <archive manager>", assets>minecraft>textures
You now have a "default template". Find the files you need and either drag them out, or even just note their names and you can make the file from scratch instead.
Remember that you don't need any files in your pack; if you don't modify a file you don't need to include it. So, unlike in the past when block and item textures used texture sheets, you no longer have to worry about new things being invisible in your pack (they will just be default).
