How is this made?
How is this sword not pixelated? If someone could tell me how to get that would be really helpful.

It looks like something inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
Wasn't there a windwaker pack out there? Might be a place to start looking.

Where did you get this texture?
I once made a 1024x1024 resolution pickaxe, but if you're planning to do this, I recommend doing it only with the tools and nothing else in the resourcepack, unless you are certain your graphics card can handle it. Minecraft is poorly optimized, so huge textures sadly means performance loss. What you need to do is strike a nice balance between detail and performance.
The_Big_DishUse paint or something and then use the zoom in and you can see the pixels. The person used anti-aliasing to make it look more smooth, aka you see that dark gray around the rim of the black lines of the sword? That is anti aliasing. basically it softens the edge to make the transition less harsh. They probably just used a program to do that, most programs do that automatically when you use the draw pen for example.
here is an example the left side is without anti aliasing and the right is with anti= aliasing.
and here is a picture of the anti-aliasing it zoomed up:
thank you
If you are doing a larger texture pack you could just use a pen tool in a program like firealpaca OR if it is below 32 pixels you might just want to try to do pixel anti aliasing. Here is a website that I found that describes how to do pixel anti aliasing:

The image has pixels, its just to high definition to notice them. You cannot use textures like this in minecraft simply because the game doesnt support resolutions that big, or they wouldnt even be noticeable at that size. You can create textures like this that have lossless resizability in a program like adobe illustrator, and I think photoshop, but AI is the easiest.
You can use textures like this in Minecraft, it'd just take a fairly good graphics card.
In nontechnical trms, that image is huge.
Photoshop, or most other image programs with a pen tool or similar, would be able to create something like this within a minute or two.
I think Gimp is still a thing, if you can't get PS.

everything on the screen you are looking at is a pixel, the pixels in that sword are obviously very small. ~Coming from a noob
