I want to make a sakura pack for 1.8.9 but the leaves end up looking a weird green color. I thnk it might have smth to do with the colormap but idk how to use it. How do I fix this?

Hey, in case you haven't figured it out on your own yet, you're right, leaf colors do respond to the foliage and grass colormaps (I believe different leaves respond to one colormap or the other, not sure why lol). So you can either modify the colormaps to have the colors you want for the leaves, or you can try modifying the colormap to be either fully transparent or white (I can't quite remember which it needs to be) and then have your custom leaves textures in your resource pack. That way, the colormap should not be affecting your textures.
