Hey everyone i want to make a texture pack my first! i need some tips or maybe even someone to help me. msg if you want to help comment the tips thanks!

Ya i would also edit not only blocks but also items and gui and everything because it will make it look really cool
Also - keep to a theme.
Welcome to texturing! First tip: never make your textures all one colour, use shading. It will make the texture look a LOT better. I would also recommend exploring filters that your image creating program has. They can make your life a lot easier if you know how to use them. Also, start your textures from scratch, don't just edit round the default ones.
