I just made a resource pack and decided to open source it. First thing I want to say is that I do not have many textures in it yet, in fact only 3, but I will add more very soon.
So, Why am I making a open source RESOURCE PACK? Well, I think open source software is cool, and I thought, it would be cool to make an open source resource pack that anyone can share, redistribute, and modify. Another reason is that I was dying to make a resource pack for minecraft.
What is the point of this resource pack?
I made this resource pack because I wanted a minecraft resource pack that was simple, but still somewhat elegant. This texture also tries to use as few colors as possible, but still use at least two or three. I don't really know what some things should look like, so I need help from the community. I have made a similair thing before in minecraft 1.3 (I know, old version), but I have given up on that since I did not have time to update it for newer versions (and not enough time to even finish the basic textures). I have more time on my hands now, and there is an amazing community involved too.

I'm not sure if much people would use it but good luck anyway.
Something I forgot to mention is that people should give me credit and say that they had permission to make this if they make a texture pack based off of this one (since it is open sourced, I allow that). The reason they should give credit to me is because if someone finds out that it is origionally made by me, but if they don't know that making something based off of it is fine with me, they might remove it. Thanks.
