I need help with something

I have the better than default texture pack which is outdated a couple of versions of minecraft. It works well still and i really like it. The only issue it has is the beds, since they're colored now they just appear as the black and purple thing. Can someone fix the textures to where it just adds the colored beds into the pack or tell me how if it's possible?
