Sorted- it is through the steve skin in entities folder- i had an outdated picture file for it
I have the crafting table file, but still cant see a steve head!
Im not sure how to get them from default, and the only default pack i found through google had the errors i need to fix :/ i just need someone to upload 2 pics and where they go
In your .Minecraft folder open the folder that is named "versions" then open one of the numbered folders inside of "versions" then open the .jar then go to assets then minecraft then textures then entity the skin should be in there
