Newbie texture pack help

What you want to do is find a download of the default 1.7/1.8 texture pack.

You can't edit transparent images in Paint, though.

No, you can't. That's why I specifically stated that he could download GIMP.

It's not that's hard to make resourcepacks, it's just that you need to know what you're doing to get it right

I know what problem you're having, if you can't find the " button that will let you make it (color the stuff)" - you're not opening the resource packs in an image editor, are you? You're opening them in a default image viewer.

I don't really get what you're having trouble with, ask exactly what you need and I may be able to help.

do you open up the file of resourcepack workbench before clicking save or does it just start it

im gong to try the resourcepack workbench to see if that works

I still don't understand what you're having trouble with. You need to be very clear with what you're saying. And please type grammatically correct. If you're talking about texturing, Paint.net is really good. http://www.getpaint.net/

I'm still not really sure what you're having problems with, but GIMP is good for editing textures (although I've heard that Paint.NET is also good), and MightyPork's ResourcePack Workbench might be useful for managing you resource pack.

dont just get mad at me because im asking crazy stuff i am really a newbie and is not a nerd about minecraft
first one to help me find out how will be given credit on my first and second pack

I know your (is this the right your, or should it be you're) not. You need to be more descriptive and specific, I don't know what you're talking about.

What are you using to edit it?

i dont know what that is and it sounds to hard is there a a nother way to do it and not so hard ik its ony 3 steps but i dont got eny of the stuff plus i dont got beta if it does not change eny effect... oh and btw im not 11 or older
