I started a new 32x resourcepack, and I've always been really bad at the log textures. Something feels off about this attempt, but I'm not sure what it is. Help is appreciated I've been posting a lot in this forum lately.

I think it's pretty darn good! But like the others are saying, try adding some darker brown ^.^

All I see is brown
I see no darker brown
Just Light Brown

I agree with all the others, its lacking contrast, and maybe some noise.

It needs more contrast. Right now it looks very flat and doesn't appear to have much depth. It's a good start though.

The color was ok, I could live with it, but i recommend not making the bark streaks so curvy, it makes it look odd, like its not hard jagged bark

I think a little bit more contrast as well, you want the darker parts to stand out a little bit more

It looks good, I'd recommend you put a little bit more color variation in it, because it seems to just be a plain brown (unless that's what you're going for).

I know you are viewing it, can anyone help?
You know what, I'll just keep the texture.
