Hey guys, sorry to bother, just wanted to get the record straight;
Ive read somewhere that more than 30% of the pack needs to be modified and the original creator asked for approval in order to upload your work and be on the safe side of moderators
Now my issue as follows; I have been working secretly on my own Tekkit pack that uses the LB Photorealism texture pack by Scuttles. The thing is that I have not changed any objects in the base texture pack, but used some of the elements to re-texture most Tekkit elements (in order for it to fit in with the base pack).
I have contacted Scuttles about it, but a week has past and no response. My question is, could I showcase my work (still ages away from finishing most of it) even without explicit approval from Scuffles, or should I carry on with my project privately until further notice?

Alrighty then, will keep working on a more acceptable pack from now on.

#Edit: Just realized that the railcraft textures are mainly based on his pack. Now comes the sadface.
Anyways, if you do manage to get in touch with him, I would be most thankful if you could mention this project. The whole texture pack is created as an add-on to his pack, thus most textures are focused to blend with his pack.
Aaaand end whining/pleading.

Scuttles will not reply. The answer is no, you may not use his stuff. It's stolen far too often. Adding textures simply for Tekkit is not changing sufficient enough pieces of Scuttle's work. You can certainly use the TP yourself, but you can't upload it to PMC.
Would do, but I want it to fit in with Scuttles' texture pack, and for that the easiest way is to use his textures to connect in seamlessly. All in all, I wish he would reply
I think you should keep the textures you made and replace his textures
