Resource pack showcase map

I recently finished (to an acceptable degree, anyway, there are some changes I would like to make in the future) a map for viewing resource packs. I hadn't been able to find any recent ones that included new blocks like concrete, so I made my own. I've submitted it at MinecraftMaps and would like to submit it here as well.
Would I be better off submitting it as a project, as a texture pack (this makes the most sense to me - that was where I first searched for one myself), or in some other way?
