I happen to like the stone texture in one pack, and replaced it in the one I use with the one I like. I replaced stone.png and all the stone block-state files. Now I get a patchy look. Some stone texture is replaced with the new texture, (the lighter one), and some remains the same old stone texture. Help Please? I also don't see a way to attach an image to this message. Sorry.

Propably becouse blockstate uses two different models using two different textures - just delete stone blockstate
