I'm just fed up of people using Shaders on their texture pack pictures. It doesn't make your texturepacks any better and half the time the texture packs looks terrible without them.
You might have a really nice texture packs but I'm not going to give you a Diamond or favourite because you're using Shaders. Yes, this is a rant but I think a lot of people feeling the same way.

I know, thats so annoying, people think that just because they have shaders, they can easily draw people into a pack, for the sole reason of the water looking good!
I don't care as long as there's some screenshots without shaders included too. For the love of all things good, please also take some close-ups of your textures. Wide shots don't do anything for me when I'm trying to decide if I want to use your pack or not.
Agreed with OP. I appreciate when texture-pack makers include shader-less screenshots, I think this should be the norm. Don't try to make your texture look better than they are in reality. It should look good on its own. It gets especially silly when they use such a bright, distracting shader that it is impossible to tell what the textures look like at all.
I suspect I'd be more annoyed by this if it weren't for the fact that resource packs are free and usually don't take up more than a few megabytes.
Worst case scenario, I download a resource pack with no clue what it actually looks like without shaders, I end up not liking it, and it finds a cozy little space in my trash bin.

If they're using it as a side picture with more non- shader images than I'm fussed, but if they're using shaders screenshot as main image than yeah I don't like it.

I enjoy it when people use shaders in their screenshots especcialy
if its supposed to be realistic cause it looks really damn pretty
If your texture pack looks good with shaders then you can bet im using shaders with them but half the time I don't use shaders and they still look great to me
but again this is just a matter of opinion
