I've been wanting to do a texture pack for a while, and well, I'm not good at it. Can anyone help me with ideas? I already have the ore blocks done, but they look crappy.

Try and think of a theme that hasn't been done before.
Medieval - Have a lot
Smooth - Have a lot
Or you can make one based on a game, tv series, etc.
