Texture shading help
So, yeah, I'm working on another texture pack, and I have a little problem with shading. My shading style is basically randomly spam the tool brush and put strokes continuously everywhere. So, any advice. Also need to fix my stained clay textures for the texture pack.

Try looking at the default texture pack.
what the stained clay is: horizontal lines of slightly different shades of colors
