I want to create my own midival feel texturepack fr others to download and use! but the problem is i don't know how to create one! if u can help me out and point me to FREE programs that are easy to use and how to make it 64x64. Thx!

Look up the tutorial by RandomMacFive on youtube. Its outdated but good. (Still copy all of the same files as he does)
i'll tell you how to make one.
first download winrar (or 7zip)
go to .minecraft, bin and extract minecraft.jar
download gimp 2
create a folder and copy and paste all files from the extracted minecraft folder
watch the rest on youtube

Use image editing tools w/ transparency! Like Paint.net, GIMP or photoshop.
But Don't use microsoft paint.
