hey guys I was just wondering if you could help me see if this is a bug or not.
the dark oak and spruce leaves get kind of a shine/tint when you get about 15 blocks away in the 1.8 snapshots. does any one know if this is a bug or not so I can go about fixing it?

also the leaves in fast setting just the ones from fancy but with the foliage colour underneth. Is anyone else having this problem? It would be esspecialy helpful if some on could use the same texture I am and see if they have any issues...it might be a setting I have.

Thanks for your time CSB

I'm sure that it is a bug because I have seen it in my texture pack when using 1.8

Check your resource pack? Might have been painted wrong.

I don't think it is. Seeings on how it looks, it kinda looks like Mojang added some sort of vanilla shaders o_o

Shaders have been in the snapshots for months now. That's what the "super secret options" button does.

Regardless, no, this is not a shader. This is related to mipmapping. It looks like the mipmapped textures aren't being tinted properly compared to the full size image. Disabling mipmapping should make it look better (albeit is not a proper fix).

Ah ok, I have been wrong before so I wasn't worried if I was wrong cx
But I find sso to be more of a "effects" thing then a shader.

Generally the shaders you see around for Minecraft are effects. They're designed to change the fragments that go to your screen.

@OP, it's likely a bug and will be fixed later on. They have been re-doing a lot of renderer stuff with 1.8 and I imagine you're not the only one who has noticed this issue.
