The "missing texture" is related to animations. Make sure your images are all square, as if it is rectangular, the system thinks it is an animation, cannot find an animation definition (.mcmeta file) for it, and displays the "missing texture" placeholder.
If you were working in default res, make sure the images are 16x16 and that you did not accidentally crop them.
If they are animations, you need an animation definition, and the number of frames needs to be correct. The first frame is considered frame 0.

did you change any of the picture's names? Cause if you did, change them back to their original names.
Did you save them as a .png?
Yes i saved them as png
if you started a 64x64 pack or 8x8 etc etc youll need to resume in making them in that ( pretty much, when u start editing a pack, make sure every block is in that format (ex. 8x8 blocks all the way)
