Building An Elevator In Minecraft
I hope this is the right spot for this, if not, mods feel free to move. If you play Tekkit and was ever wondering how to create a elevator we made a video on one technique. If you don't play Tekkit, it can still be done with the help of installing a few mods.
Tekkit Elevator
If playing regular vanilla Minecraft you would need the following mods:
Railcraft
RedPower
There is also a link on Planet Minecraft for downloading the second version of this elevator for you to use. It's the same elevator, but contained within a building. We also have plans of creating a third version with computercraft/tekkit.

Looks like we had some more folks take a look at it, but not any more people downloaded it. I'll try and remember to get some better screen shots of it, the ones posted are pretty crappy IMO.
