Update on Minecraft studies

Hi all,

This is probably a bit random, but some of you may be aware of my research. I started looking into Minecraft's commissioning market a couple of years ago as the main focus of my PhD studies. Given that I am nearing the end of my PhD, I thought of giving an update on my progress (and letting everyone know of the main deliverables of my work).

Essentially, for the last 24 months I've been in contact with Minecraft builders and clients. In the process, I published two academic papers (links below, downloadable PDFs in the links) and gave a public talk.

I am grateful to all the people that helped me and to all of you in general for the amazing work you're doing. Studying the community was a revelation to me and taught me many things, especially regarding Minecraft (obviously), internet culture, and gaming communities such as this.

That's all I guess.
