Warriors RP Thread

"Oh!" Tulippaw said, her tail flicking in embarrasment. "Can I go for some rest? It's dark out, and I need to think of some things." She wanted to go to sleep, but smelled a faint scent of a loner is the distance. "Nevermind. I need to go check something out." And with that, Tulippaw ran out of the medicine cat's den.

Waterkit opened her mouth to speak to herself harshly again, but saw a shooting star falling in the sky. ((Halfshine... what did you do? XD)) Hoping to make her dream come true, she whispered "I wish I could see my sister again, just once!" And without warning, Waterkit' legs started moving in direction of faint chattering and smells she hadn't smelled in a while.

Blackheart looked up at the sky and saw the moon rise. She looked at the bright, twinkling stars in the sky. Just by the look of it, she knew StarClan was watching over her. All the great warriors who protected the clan was watching the clan right now. She stood up on her shaking legs and went over to the warrior den. Walking over to the den, she stopped and sniffed the air and smelled the crisp forest air, and the smell of the clan cats. She started walking to the den again so she could get to sleep.

When entering the den, she saw sleeping cats and some cats trying to sleep. Blackheart sighed and went to her moss bed and closed her eyes. She fell asleep almost immediately. She started dreaming a horrific dream.

The smells of the forest filled her nostrils. She walked through the forest hoping for some mice. While running to the border of the camp where the most mice are found, she hears screams of the patrol that went out. They run past her when one looks back and yells, "Run!". Confused yet curious, she continues on for the mice.
While turned to look for mice, she sniffed and smelled....SMOKE! She turned to see trees burning down, bushes turning into ashes, and trees falling on top of other trees. The fire was coming closer quicker than it should. She tried running but the fire kept getting closer and closer until her tail got caught on fire.

Blackheart woke up from her dream while panting heavily. She hoped that the dream won't come true because if it did, the clan would be clan forever.

Moonclaw finished her mouse and got rid of the remains of the mouse. After that she returned to her bed and went to bed. She started dreaming and smelt the forest from her dream. It was the best dream she had had in weeks.

(I don't have a deputy, surprisingly p: I thought people would go for the best power possible. Also I like to put the cat's name before the reply because it's shiny and orange c:)


Halfshine woke in a daze; like she was still asleep. She opened her bloodshot eyes, blinked, and got up to stretch her arms. Her leg slipped into the puddle, which she was sleeping by, and startled her. She slid her leg back out, revealing a dark red stain on her black fur. How good this turned out. I sleep for a while to get rid of all the stress that's been put on me, and now it all comes back, she thought. And suddenly, she felt something suspicious.

It was a few moments after that before she realized it was dark out. She hoped everything was okay the rest of the day. If another bad accident happened, Halfshine would feel even more guilt over her.

Suddenly, there was a shooting star in the sky, it's bright color zooming among the trees, over all of Earth. Halfshine made a wish right before the shooting star faded away into the mist of space.

I wish I knew who my mother was. That was her last thought, as she lay back down to, once again, fall asleep.

Moonclaw watched Blackheart run out of the den with much swiftness. She wondered why Blackheart ran out but forgot about it quickly. After that she started to chew the juicy plump mouse not knowing what to expect. After swallowing a piece she slowly chewed the remaining pieces in her mouth. "Wow, this mouse is delicious! Why have I never had this before!" said Moonclaw. After saying the last sentence, she remembered why she never had a mouse, she was a pampered kitty pet as a kit. A small stroke of guilt hit her like a punch in the gut. She wondered what her two legs were doing right now with her sisters and brothers.

[ o3o Then I may make two /more/ characters. Unless I find a way to make this backstory a deputy's. Because I really like what I've come up with so far.. ]

Black heart : Blackheart opens her mouth about to speak, then changes her mind and sprints out of the warriors den. She rushes past many dens, Straight to the woods. She pants heavily as she rushes by many busy cats.

She reaches the forest and stops right before she goes in. She sits down and catches her breath since she was running all the way across camp.

(I'm probably going to create another char too. It's getting boring with just one cat p:)

Halfshine thought she ought to take a long, relaxing nap. It made her feel guilty, because of Thornclaw, but she was so tired of this scene happening over and over in her head, she thought a nap would force it out. Or she'd dream about it. Either way, she was tired.

She walked back to her den, forcing herself to fall asleep and forget the death.

[Dat one-liner o-o. Meh. ]

Mistcloud suppressed a small chuckled, flicking her tail in the direction of a few berries -juniper berries, to be exact -on a leaf in the herb stock. "Those are juniper berries, they're good for belly aches, along with watermint," she explained as she, again with the tip of her tail, pointed toward some leaves and petals: "Marigold can be chewed up and placed on wounds for infection." She went through explaining it slowly, not wanting to go through it too fast. Mistcloud had yet to forget her time as an apprentice, one yearning to learn and server her clan; she wouldn't rush through training Tulippaw.

"Um..." Tulippaw started, "Let me think..."

@Xo Also, want me to link a website that lists the herbs? Because Tulippaw will be, you know, quizzed on them a lot by Mistcloud. Or can you find a list? But remember not to make her get all the questions right; she's still learning :3 ]


Mistcloud pushed the remainder of her fresh-kill (bones and fur) aside, rising to her paws. "If you wish," she meowed, and then, glancing at the herb stock, she quickly asked: "We'll need more juniper berries or watermint, and maybe some marigold. Now what do we use those for?" She didn't want Tulippaw getting to distracted by thinking about her history, but also testing her occasionally helped Mistcloud assess her progress. 'I'll probably need to visit the [insert name of their moonstone/pool] soon,' she thought. 'It's been almost two moons since I was last there.'

Tulippaw sighed and looked up at her mentor, as if something fun in mind. "Maybe we could find some greenleaf herbs and talk about it together." Tulippaw was positive her menter would say no, be she would have gone on the trip to find greenleaf's herbs.

(( BTW when is the next clan gathering? the one at fourtrees. ))

Blackheart : Blackheart walks over to the warriors den and lays down in her moss bed. She watches cats entering and leaving and passing by the den. She then sees the cat that was new. (again, Moonclaw ) She gets up and walks over to her.

Moonclaw : Moonclaw grabs a mouse from the fresh kill pile and went over to the warriors den. She walks in to the cold, hard den and goes over to a bed next to a wall. When she starts her mouse, a black cat is seen above her. "Umm, hello." said Moonclaw.

(I looove your writing, Rkana o: Also, to answer your question, XoXo, Davidbugrugrat is the RPer of the cat, who's name I've messed up on two times now xD)

Halfshine ;;

She opened her eyes slowly and turned her head back at the dead body of cat that was once highly respected in the clan. There it lay, untouched, not moving; not the slightest bit. And Halfshine wondered what she could do about it. She could make a speech about this brave and life-sacrificing cat commonly known by the name of Thornclaw. It only hit her then, that she wondered what on Earth killed this innocent warrior.

Closing her eyes tight again, she held a grip on Thornclaw, turning him over to his wounded side. She opened her eyes slowly. There was so much blood, she couldn't tell what bit him, but it wasn't the bite that killed him. The bite did a small part in the process of this death. It was the loss of blood that killed Thornclaw.

In shock at the amount of blood, she turned him over again and loosened her grip, finally letting go of the cat, her paws covered in blood and sweat. She walked to her den, the owner's den, and washed her bloodstained paws with the puddle of water in the corner of her den. Tears streamed down her face, and she stood there, her hands in the water, for a very long time, thinking of what might have become of Thornclaw.

Mistcloud slowly stopped chewing, pondering. She was well aware that a good majority of the clan were not clan-born cats, but thought most opposed talking about it. Mistcloud looked up from the fresh-kill, and looked at her. "No, and I had planned that you and I could go pick greenleaf's herbs -the ones that have just started growing -but if you wish, we could wait until sunhigh if you wish to talk about it," she mewed, clearly understanding if Tulippaw was troubled. She looked at her apprentice with slight sympathy; she did not share the burden of such troubled histories that some did, being a clan-born cat.

Tulippaw nodded and slowly ate, saving each juicy bite of mouse she chewed. After swallowing a small peice, Tuilippaw asked very quietly, "Do you know about my family?" Feeling braver, Tulippaw said it louder. "Do you know about my history?"

[Oh, so third person nao? hehe~]

Mistcloud nodded, "Of course, where else would I get it from?" She pushed the mouse toward Tulippaw, settling down on the stony floor. She would've given her the vole, but the mouse looked more plump; younger cats had more energy, and therefore needed more food. She began eating the vole quietly, chewing slowly.

(( blah blah blah lets just say Blackheart returned from boarder patrol. ))

Blackheart : blackheart walks back into camp with a small mouse in my mouth hanging by the tail. She walks over to the fresh kill pile and sets it down. After that, she goes to find that other cat she saw earlier, whom smelled like kittypet. ( *cough* Moonclaw *cough* )

(ohmahgerd it's alive. I really didn't think anyone would post while I was gone c':...on a more 'serious' note, I've cleared up some stirs regarding the RP and am, obviously, back)

Halfshine ;;

Halfshine looked down at Thornclaw one last time (he is really dying, rite? RITE?) before he didn't remain unconscious. Unconscious wasn't the word, anyway. He was dead, dead as all the animals in the fresh kill pile. Dead like a deer who's just been shot by a hunter. She didn't know him very well, but she cried anyway, her tears landing on his fur-filled chest, his face slowly paling. She turned her head away, closing her eyes tight so that she didn't let any more tears out.

Tulippaw: I woke up to hear the soft chirping of birds and the scent of fresh-kill. I looked up to see my mentor Mistcloud looking down at me with a dead mouse. "From the fresh-kill pile?" I ask, afraid Mistcloud got it from someone else. Here, I don't really trust anyone except my hopes of finding my sister and Mistcloud.

Waterpaw: I slid along the ground, hoping to go unnoticed. The wind rustled in my fur and it smelt like fox dung, but I didn't care. I would much rather life here than go through my life all over again. "If only I could have done something!" I hiss to myself.

Blackheart : I look at Moonclaw (happy Rkana? :p) for a minute then walked off. I go over to the forest and goes to patrol the boarder. While walking to the boarder, I think about that new cat. Who was that cat? I think to myself.

( *achem* Black heart knows all the cats names in the clan except Moonclaw. Therefore, she calls her "the kitty". )

Thornclaw: The blackness was becoming more stable. I realy am going to die right here in camp. I thought.

[Y'all need to be more descriptive. It's not meta to say the cat's name, just make sure you know whether or not they know their name. But saying "the kitty" is unproductive. Nobody will know who you're talking about, therefore you won't get a proper reply.]

~Mistcloud~

I spotted a nice, slim mouse in the fresh-kill pile, probably from the night before. I slid it between my teeth, along with a vole for Tulippaw, my apprentice. As I thought about which herbs we'd need, I padded back to my den. Hopefully Tulippaw was up, since I had brought us both fresh-kill.

Brackenpaw: "Well, we usualy wait for Halfshine to give us orders."

Moonclaw : "Yeah, I am. Kinda hard not to notice that." I say while stepping away from the vomit. I walk up to the cat and say "What do we do?".

Blackheart : I walk out of my den to see a new kitty. I walk close to her but kept a safe distance away, just to make sure she isn't hostile. I sit down and watch the kitty.

[:I Summer? You must mean greenleaf. ]

(I would asume we would start at summer)

[Time to... Post! Also, what season is it?]

I woke in a daze, hearing the soft pawsteps of my clanmates outside. I lifted my head up droppily, glancing outside the den. "Dawn already?" I meowed quietly, hoping for more sleep. I yawn as I pull myself up, and outside the den. Glancing briefly inside, I took a look at the herb stock. 'We'll need to restock soon...' I thought, padding away.

Brackenpaw: "Well hi moonclaw! Are you new?" I pretend not to notice the rust-colored vomit on the ground.

Moonclaw : I look up to see Brackenpaw talking at me. I gulp down some small amounts of vomit and looks at him. "I-I'm Moonclaw," I say while wiping away some vomit from my mouth.

Brackenpaw: Not able to stand the sight of poor thornclaw, I begin to search for the strange cat I saw earlier. I find her in the middle of camp. "HI! I'm brackenpaw!" I say.

Moonclaw : I decide to do the only way I could think of, licking it off. I walk up to a small amount of rust and gulp. I slowly put my tongue up to the rust and lick it off. I spit out all the rust off my mouth and runs out of the den and goes close to the center of the town, and throws up.

Thornclaw: If this Is dying, it's not too bad. I think. As I lie there, the blackness start to slowly go back to the camp, then back to the blackness. I hear the clamor af many fussing cats.

Moonclaw : I hear Halfshine yell, and run to the crowd. I push through the crowd to get to the front for a clear view. I look at the cat passed out with bloody leaves on him (or her :p ). I slowly back away from the crowd, to continue her work on the abandoned den.

I get back to the den and continue to slowly remove the barbwire. Removing the last piece of barbwire, I get a small cut. Ow! I thought to myself. I walk out of the den to see what I still have to do. Lots of rust, lots of it. I sit down and think of a way to get rid of the rust.

Brackenpaw: I notice a group forming over near the Medicine cat den. I walk over to see what this is all about. I hear Halfshine meowing in panic. "We need help! Thornclaw is dying! Any medicine cat, please help!" Thornclaw? Dying?

Halfshine ;;

I call out to any other medicine cat around, because nobody is in the medicine cat den. "We need help! Thornclaw is dying! Any medicine cat, please help!". I catch everyone's eyes and they all come towards me, but I tell them he needs space unless you're a medicine cat. Everyone steps back a few, and no one steps forward, rescuing this poor, poor cat. I ask a few people to get some thick leaves, and quickly, they go out into the forest and come back instantly with four handfuls of leaves. That'll do. Covering the wound with leaves, more and more people start to leave. They go into their dens and cover their children's eyes. I'm not even sure if Thornclaw can make it.

Thornclaw: As halfshine rushes over to me, I start to feel faint. "Are you okay? she asks. I have no time to answer, because it all goes black.

Moonclaw : I walk over to the abandoned den and slowly walked in. I look at all the barb wire and rust. Hm, looks like I can fix this place up a bit, I thought. I ran out of the den, avoiding the barbwire and ran into the forest. I find some flowers and pick many of them. I hurry back to the den, crushing or breaking many flowers, and put them all around the front. I walk back into the forest and grab a big stick.I pull the stick back to the den and try pulling away the barbwire. It was too hard for me because I'm so weak, but I managed to get some of it away.

I look around for an empty den, but only find the abandoned one that nobody takes. It's too rusty to survive in. A cat could hurt itself easily on all the rust and barbwire. "Well, there's that one," I say, pointing to the abandoned den, "but if you like, you can live with me for awhile until we find you a proper place to stay." I point to my den and wave my paw goodbye as I spot Thornpelt knocking on the medicine cat's den. I rush to him.

"What happened?" I ask, spotting blood on his left leg. "Are you okay?", I ask him, rushing for an answer and scanning his wound to see if he'll survive. If Mistcloud doesn't answer her door soon, he might be in severe danger. Well, not that he already is.

Moonclaw: Hm,wonder if I'll survive another hour, I thought to myself. "Well this seems interesting. So, what den do I live in?" I asked, because I am not to sure what to do in clans. I look at the forest, and then turn my attention back to Halfshine.

Halfshine ;;
"Welcome,", I say, looking around her for scars of any kind. Wouldn't want someone bad in our clan. "We are like any other clan. We struggle to survive. We catch prey and eat it. We sleep in our uncomfortable dens," I say, pointing to the fresh kill pile, two clan members who are exhausted from hunting, and our dens. Hopefully she understands now. I have to find Brackenpaw.

Thornpelt: That Fox didn't stand a chance. Of cource, It gave me a wound to think about, but it doesn't hurt much. As I walk into camp, My wound is bleeding more and more rapidly. That fox got me pretty good. I should go see Mistclod, I think. I Limp over to the Medicine cat den, for my wound is on my left hind leg.

Moonclaw: I look up to Halfshine and stands up. "I'm Moonclaw. Nice to meet you." I said with a small smile on my face. I try to make sure she doesn't find out I was a kittypet. "So what do we do in this clan?" I ask, because I'm not really sure.
