Better Gaming Computer
Heres a little background, I'm a tech person, I love having the power to do as I please without any issues. Heres my current specs from the computer I built for ~$1,000
OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel i5 Quadcore
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Superclocked
Ram: 24GB RAM (Patriot Viper 8GB x3)
Power Supply: ThermalTake 80+ Bronze 650W
Tower: ThermalTake Commander MS-I Snow edition
Cooling: ThermalTake 120x120 LED VR Fan x4
Now I currently run 2 monitors, 1 is my old 27" LED TV, the other is my new 21" LED LG Monitor
I want to upgrade to a better computer. Possibly upgrade the motherboard and put in a bigger processor and graphics card, maybe more.
What is this computer going to be used for?
Gaming with HIGH graphic settings, Graphic/Website Design (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, ect.) Recording videos for youtube and streaming to Twitch.tv
What is your budget?
$2000
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
US, Nearest one is like 900 miles from me XD
What is included in the budget?
Case, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Processor, More RAM
Will you be overclocking?
Possibly
Will you be reusing any parts?
RAM Cards 8GBx3, Power supply (unless I need to upgrade), fans, 4TB HDD
What OS do you want?
Already have Windows 7
Any specific case preferences?
Preferably White (Narrows down the choices really fast, so Black is my fall back) Needs to fit a large enough motherboard that can hold 64GB Ram, Possibly more than 1 graphics card, built in wifi and enough room to add in more cooling power if needed.
Any other special features that you want in the build?
Wifi

Nothing more fun than overkill
This is propably not the most solid build for five mins of partpicking, but, I was bored and
like he said, overkill yolo much

That's a pretty bad build actually.
The H100i is a better liquid cooler for 20$ less.
The motherboard is on an outdated chipset. You should be getting a Z97 motherboard with that CPU.
You can get a 1600mhz 4x8gb RAM kit for 30$ less.
Good case but there are a few other options for cheaper. OP needs to do some research and decide which case he wants.
Power supply is overpriced. You can get a better one for 50$ less.
Anyways, OP I really don't think you need 64 GBs of RAM. 24 GBs is probably enough and if you really felt like you needed more you can always just throw in another RAM stick.
This build should be fine.

Check to see if you can use your current copy of Windows 7 on a new computer.

What do you need 24 gb of ram for?
Yolo?
waste of money...most top range pcs usually have 16gb....or even 8gb is fine
are you hosting a server on your computer?
are you hosting a server on your computer?
Sure do. have 8GB of RAM allocated. As well, I run FTB with Optifine and Shaders (highest settings possible), the Direwolf20 mod pack alone eats up a lot of RAM
What are you doing that requires 64gbs of ram?
Anyways, this build will be towards the top of your budget is most likely extremely overkill.
