I can teach you other stuff,I'm relatively new to java myself
This website does not have Java, it has Javascript. Java and Javascript are two completely different languages.
Oh, I though it had java on it, sorry....
Did you not see my last comment?

Code academy doesn't teach Java, C++, or anything that will translate into Minecraft. They teach javaSCRIPT, which is NOTHING like Java. It's used for websites.
If you plan on learning a language, be patience, because trust me, I know, it takes a VERY LONG TIME. I've been working on Java for over 3 years now, and I still don't understand all of it.

I am actually currently in the process of learning Java so I know exactly what you're going through right now. I too was very confused on where to start and it really depends on the type of person you are. Heres a few ways you can learn Java.
Youtube/Video Tutorials
Pros: If you are more of a person who doesn't like to read, YouTube videos or online video tutorials are the way to go.
Cons: Many people who do this videos leave out very important key points of the language and if you're trying to re-learn something you forgot it is very difficult to find the part of the video you need to watch.
Books (The way I used)
Pros: Very informative and include every important detail you need to learn the language efficiently. If you plan to go this way read through the reviews of the book on Amazon to see if it's good for beginners.
Cons: Cost money, not all books are as informative as others and it's hard to decide on one.
Online Classes
Pros: Good for people who like classroom like settings
Cons: Some of the free ones aren't always as good as the payed ones.
If one way doesn't work for you try another. Just stick with the language even if it gets boring. If you're like me a few weeks after giving up you'll try again and have to start all the way back from square one.

im still young
i know it takes years i have time to learn.
You realise learning java takes years?
Not really, if I tried very hard, I could probably nail all the base concepts in about 3 or 4 months. It might take another 4 or so months for extra things, and maybe another 4 or 7 months to perfect GUIs, and then a few years for 2D graphics, and many more for 3D graphics... yeah, maybe you're right..
