Hey guys and girls of Minecraft,
I am getting a computer for "college", but my main thing I will do is game on it. It MUST be $1,600 max and needs to be a laptop. I would like to record, play Minecraft and have Skype all running at the same time. I have no clue on what type of processor, ram and other technological stuff I should have in my laptop. I have looked around and found that MSI, Lenovo, and AUSU havepretty cheap and well built laptops.
So this is where the my fellow Minecraft players come in. I need some help on some technical specs that should be able to run Minecraft, recored, and have skype or team speak all running at the same time.
Could anyone help me on this?
Thank You!

This is the one I'd choose. So-So good amount of RAM, i5 intel core, 7 hour battery life, 2 usb ports, touchscreen with a 13.3" screen, Windows 8.1, and 128GB on a Solid State Hard-drive. It's below your budget, and I think that it'll do just fine for college + recording. Only downside is that it's out of stock on the Microsoft Store, but that doesn't mean it's not somewhere else.

Optionally there's this one here, which has an i7 intel core, and a 256GB SSD with 2 screens (kinda weird but cool) , but has a 11.6" screen and only 5 hours of battery life. Yet again though, it's out of stock.

You can use these specs to compare as well, you don't necessarily need to get these ultrabooks. These kind of specs are what I'd recommend however.
Edit: On a gaming note, it doesn't have a backlit cover so it's kinda hard to see at night + you need to buy a mouse. I hear this is a great mouse http://www.razerzone.com/ca-en/store/razer-taipan
