I don't know since I've been playing games since I couldn't remember but some of the most memorable old games I played that I could consider some firsts were sonic advance, god of war, the ratchet and clank series, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Spyro the dragon, a lot more.

The first game I remember to play was a Spyro game on PS1
It was amazing then, next to my brother playing GTA Vice City on his PC.
I had 2 Spyro games, The one where you need to collect eggs and my favourite was the one with the Emerald Dragons...
It are the ones I remember as "1st games" because (My brother told me but I could not remember) I played many games on the Megadrive.

This was the first non-learning game I ever played. My dad got it when I was 7 and let me play it (my mom wasn't too happy lol). This game was literally my childhood.
It also had a pretty amazing soundtrack:

Right after that was Super Mario Bros. on the NES!
Despite of the fact that I'm 14, I've stayed the same!
I love retro games, and I'm glad my first game wasn't COD or something. lol I now own every Nintendo home console, besides their early Pong consoles, or a Wii U. I even have the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, DSLite, DSi, and 3DS!

Wow, this discussion could expose my age, but it also takes me back to my youth. I did have a Magnavox Odyssey when I was younger, but I don't remember any of the games. The first game that I vividly remember playing was Alpiner, from Texas Instruments. We got the system for Christmas the year it was introduced, and I was so addicted to that game that my dad would hide it from me because he caught me playing it when I should have been sleeping. I actually loved all of those Texas Instrument games.
