Hey, I've been using Java to make Bukkit plugins on and off for the past couple years. I have recently really gotten into game development using Java however I keep losing my motivation due to being busy with college and work.
If you are skilled with Java (not asking for an expert as I as my knowledge is far off that) and are interested in making games for fun and completing some projects then please comment below.
Just so everyone is aware, I am not looking for someone who is completely serious about this, just someone who will code with me for fun and if we create something which has the potential to be good, will continue the project on until completion along with me.
A few points:
We will be using Java.
I can Skype.
I use Eclipse and the Saros plugin to allow me to code with others at the same time.
I only have a couple small projects which display my Java skills.

If that is not good enough for you then get a pen and paper and make you own board game.

I don't really have the time at the moment to join in, but I get the gist of what you're doing because it's essentially the same thing I'm doing.

I think this is the kind of project you're trying to do. Something that you can randomly work on at any time and is more general. If you want something that's addictive, I'm currently planning to eventually use Tekusuto to make an RPG game. So yeah.
Could you perhaps do a bit of work on it and see if you like it? I think you'll get some extra ideas from it. Also, I made it in Eclipse, so it should look completely fine in indentation.
I might comment later if I have the time to join in on your current goal, but not nao, I got schoolwork to do.

I am learning java and i could help. But im busy with other things like 3d modelling.

I've written a few plugins before and I'm pretty experienced with Java. I'm assuming there'd be a Github involved, and if so then I'm more than willing to devote some time to this.

Sounds pretty cool, but I'm pretty busy with my own Java projects so I'm not sure how much help I would be.

Just something that is simple, fun, and somewhat addictive to play. Don't have a big idea as of now although I am working on a little project which has a bit of potential. I'm pretty confident with web development as it is but that's not an issue right now.
i am only 7 and i have no expurence with this java thing, but can i stil b a prt of da team? my mommy and daddy will be in the skype call so they make sure i dont say anythinnnng bad (im a kool kid lol)

I would but all the games I am working on are not Java and I have virtually no experience of Java. I have only made a test game in greenfoot.
