So I might buy a new laptop. I want to know how much it would cost to get a PC that could do the following:

  • Run Minecraft on maximum graphics settings(i.e Max render distance, fancy graphics, etc) smoothly
  • Run shaders smoothly
  • Use HD resource packs smoothly
  • Have a generally fast processing speed

If you could point me to some links, I would be thankful.
P.S American websites would be ideal.

Most laptops under 600$ are going to suck balls for minecraft, and even more with texture packs

First of all, dont get a laptop. If you have less than 350$ to spend get a dell inspiron, it has ok specs and runs mc at 60 fps constantly with shaders. If you have more than look into alienware. Its overpriced but worth it.

Alienware is never worth the price. OP, you could build a computer to do that and more for about $600.
