If you're going to build a computer for - $168.49 you may as well not and just buy a tablet to play Minecraft PE...

Read the flippin' title man, it's going to be a server.
Anyway, an Intel CPU with an AMD motherboard, yeah good luck with that.

A server with those specs would run a server with a crazy amount of lag.
1
I don't really think he wants to host a game server. I think he wants a server to store things on.

Heheheh, that CPU was in my old computer build. It couldn't run Minecraft at more than 60 FPS most of the time. I picked up that system at my church for $20.
1
And what exacly are you gonna do with a CPU that has 2 MB of cache 3.4 GHz and the FSB is 800, do you even know what FSB is?!
1
It was made in 2006; they change the price to fool others into thinking they're getting a good deal.

A server with a $13 cpu..? Well if you succeed, i'll eat my spoon.
1
THIS WILL NOT WORK. You have an AMD motherboard and an Intel CPU.

Can some one part pick me a FreeNAS server build for $200? with at least 240gb hard drive???
1
The APU build posted above is more than enough for that. I see what you're doing with it now.

Guys i want to make a FreeNAS server will the same build with the apu work?

This build should serve you fine, as it offers a dual-core processor with a TDP of only 25w, which is considerably lower than the TDP of the Pentium D you were contemplating. I wouldn't buy a wireless card - you'd be much better off just figuring out where your router is and plugging the PC in directly rather than trying to connect it wirelessly. Besides this, I would advise buying another Ethernet port, like this one, for added stability. As for your question, however, RoboShadow is right. Your motherboard is using the AM1 chipset, which is used by AMD, while the Pentium D uses the 775 chipset, which was used by Intel when that chipset was current.

Wait so i dont need a gpu?
1
No, you don't need one with this build. The CPU has graphics processing built in.
1
Not with his, because his CPU is an APU.
And a router server? Do you know what it does?

I Need The Wireless Card Because It Will Be Acting As a Router As I Wrote In The Post.
1
You need an lga775 motherboard, you have an AM1 one. That should be it though, assuming you don't need any displays. And I would also make sure that CPU comes with the cooler. (I didn't see anything about it coming with one, you WILL need one.)
1
How are you getting such a cheap cpu? Also, you'll need a GPU being that the cpu doesn't have integrated graphics.
