only ps3, xbox, wii and wiiu are CONSOLES, the rest are hand held gaming or in the case of PC the TRUE way to game

I have never really played another company's console except Nintendo and my favorite console they made is the Game Cube.

I have grown up with PC gaming ever since the old Putt Putt car game. Don't laugh...lol its ok I laugh at myself too. Xbox and ps3 have good controllers but the mouse and keyboard of a PC win

You know, after Minecraft Style was shut down by Sony people have been saying things like "**** SONY!!!" I'm expecting not many PS3 votes.

I more of a Wii guy, mainly because the only game I play on my PC is Minecraft.

Just don't fanboy over my decision. Everyone has their own opinion.

Ps3 and Gameboy, the DS is a giant high profile piece of hinges that only people who are pretentious carry around.

Okay, i know this was a debate on which was better: Ps3 or Xbox, but i updated it to, which is the best console, and i added to options to the poll.

PC and ps3 ( even if I don' have a ps3 )
PC because you can play almost whatever you want
and PS3 because you don't have to pay to play in multiplayer

Why?

Let's line up the arguments.
1. The ps3 has overall better system specifications
2. The ps3 has the ability to play blu-ray discs
3. The ps3's network system is just as good as that of Xbox Live,
Ps3 on the contrary, is free.
4. The ps3 has launched more exclusive games than the Xbox.
5. Many of the Xbox exclusives are also playable on the PC, which enforces
argument 4
6. The quality of the older Xbox consoles were meant to break down

I am an owner of both consoles, and i really enjoy the Halo franchise on the Xbox,
maybe its the reason why i still didn't sell my 360 yet.

It's really personal opinion. This just one of those endless debates. PS3 and Xbox are pretty equal. I think PC and Wii can't truly compare to the graphics of those consoles, but the experience may be better.

i like pc,ps3 and xbox i have no real reason to bash either of them. and i agree with team origin this is starting to end up as a flamewar where people use more profanity then really explain WHY they think their console is better.

I have an xbox but i like ps3 too because it does not cost money for live connection but

I like how PC is winning on a console thread.

Xbox because ive been a fan of xbox,xbox360 and soon to be xbox720 annyway its way better than ps3 because yeah mabye pay 50$ a year no biggie i make that in a minute,
it has halo 1 2 3 and 4 and ps3 the only thing its got exclusive to it is god of war.

So in all honesty i would pick Xbox.

I think everyone seems to be missing the thing that always gives the PS3 the advantage.

Its multimedia capabilities. The PS3 is far better for media consumption than Xbox 360 or any other platform out there besides PC. The Bluray gives the PS3 a giant advantage while the 360 struggles with the dead platform of HD DVD. PS3 has modern technology and its more economic for a person to own a PS3 (free online play, bluray player built in, does not red ring.)

Beyond that I will say I do not like console wars as they are nothing but fanboys of each platform saying their opinions that cant be changed.

Each platform has their flaws, even PC gaming. You just gotta look at the economics and the technology that suit your PERSONAL tastes, beyond that everyones opinion is going to be different. But in terms of economics the PS3 has the tech that the 360 lacked and the PS3 outsells the 360.

Personally I like my PS3 for the wide ranges of media consumption it provides me, not just gameplay. I own all of the big 3 current platforms (360, ps3, and wii) and I have to say that after my Xbox 360 red ringed and then the replacement red ringed I have to side with my PS3 as I have had never had a problem with any of my 3 PS3s failing (each in a different room for multimedia purposes) and my Wii became known as my Netflix Box.

Each platform has their flaws, I go where you get the most bang for the buck in all of its capabilities.

This thread will turn into a flame war, I thought Id provide some neutral sensible feelings to this.

The PS3 does much more but because the xbox has halo all of the 'kids' will vote xbox.
