Me and my friends have been debating which is better:
Xbox or PS3?
I personally like the Xbox because you can chat to a single person, like Private chat.
I want to see what you guys think.
No flaming at users because of their choice, if you do happen to flame, i will get the topic locked.

I mean there are pros and cons to boh of them:
XBox Pros:
-Halo
-USB Outlets For Wired Headsets
-Variety of Controllers
PS3 Pros:
-Free Network Gaming
-Better Graphics And Quality
-Plays Blu-Ray
-God of War

-Lower Quality Graphics
-Requires Money To Play Network Gaming
-No God of War
PS3 Cons:
-No USB Outlet (In the PS4 there will be)
-No Halo
-Less Variety of Controllers
They both differ in many ways and strive to be the best. Although Halo is a big factor in this, I am going to have to go with PS3 because the free network gaming is a bigger factor.

There are actually usb's in the front. You need them for controllers and headsets. I use both. And this is on the ps3. ps3 all the way! W00T

Money has never been stolen from xbox live, remember when that massive hack happened on psn and tons of money was stolen, did anyone get it back.......nope, If you hack an account on psn it gets banned, so you make a new one. Who would do this on an xbox, you dont want to waste your money. Anyway i think that PCs are better in many ways, nuff said

Xbox was hacked within the first month of release. It took ps3 4+ YEARS! You ever heard of a JTAG? pick up a fucking book. And ps3 was down for 2 months and gave you 2 free games, whereas xbox tried to cover up every mistake they make.

Not being a flamer but XBOX users get hacked so much, whereas PS3 was hacked for like a month, but they gave a choice of like 10 great games to pick two.

But the X-box version of Minecraft sucks (or so I've heard)
It's basically the same as the PC, except not updated with the current PC version yet, but it is updating, and has some different features like a ranged attack for the EnderDragon (If it's been added yet), and ofcourse the controls are different because you're using a controller and not a mouse and keyboard.
I like Xbox, Cos i have it, and the kinect sensor has really boosted their product, i mean a MILLION buys in a week(I forget the exact numbers )
PC. There really is no debate, I've played on both consoles on neither beat an up-to-date PC. If I had to choose between the two, I would personally say PS3.

I played cod on PC. It was way more competitive even in public matches. (Cod4, Mw2 and MW3)
Both systems are equally flawed, and I would only buy them for an exclusive game.
Otherwise, it's a little more economic to buy games on a P.C. unless the port is really bad. Bottom line: I would only buy a Ps3 for Journey, I would only buy an Xbox for Fez. If I had to choose, I would choose the Xbox. But, I really am more of a P.C. kind of person.

JTAG is a self hack for a console, not every console is effected.

I dont have a gaming pc but have a ps3 pc is way better.

1. Can customize Example: Oh a new gpu just came out go to amazon wait for the product to get to your home and boom better graphics.

That's exactly why I chose to mainly be a PC gamer. It's customizable, has most of the games in consoles, you can emulate some games, and you can do a lot more with a PC like watching the Youtubes, E-mailing peeps, downloading a LOT of stuff, (only downside to that are viruses and malware).

PC, 'nuff said. Though I would choose PS3 because it will have Kingdom Hearts, which is like, my 2nd favorite game. I mean sure Xbox has Minecraft in it, but I already have PC Minecraft and PE. I guess that's enough for me. (If I offended any Xbox dudes out there, it wasn't my intention. It's just my opinion on it.)

I prefer Xbox over Ps3, though at heart I'm a PC gamer.

It gets annoying seeing five thousand people talking about how the PC is the best thing since sliced bread. The thread's about PS3s and XBoxes. Not PCs.
There are never any threads about the Wii.
Also you can't get my favorite game without an emulator, and even then you need a two-thousand dollar PC to run it at a decent level
Both consoles are good in their owns ways, I like playing on the Xbox because that's is what most of my friends use. Honestly, PC is the best though because of the sheer customization. PlayStation does have a lot of great exclusive games though such as Uncharted and Little Big Planet and it also has free online gaming.

nope even multiplatform games look better on PS3. Look up comparisons of recently released titles.
PC is best in terms of power, but no PC game ever had as good animations as Uncharted 3. No PC game has so nicely done sand as Uncharted 3. And in lots of PC / multiplatform games, there are things like trees, grass, stones flying in mid air, because of bad work of those who make these maps. So technicaly Uncharted 3 is still better game than all PC games. At least for me
