GameCube was amazing First game i ever got for it was super mario Sunshine was amazing. Next I remember getting windwaker the first really Zelda game i owned. (Back when renting was around alot) I loved wind waker and Still do. If a modern version of that was Around like the old one for Game Cube I would buy it before even thinking about it i loved it so much. I am really sad though, because when the wii came around some time then i lost all my game cube games and Zelda was Scratched up really badly and Now i want that game back so bad. If The Creator of Zelda is Reading this. DO ANOTHER AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

This is my younger childhood in a box. The only game that I ever played on the N64 was Super Mario 64 (real original name nintendo). I remember on my fifth birthday, my parents told me to go open the towel/sheets closet, and out fell a brand new gamecube. Most of those that you listed such as SMS, Luigi's Mansion, and Pikmin were my favorites, and I still play them today. I love you, Happybandaid, for mentioning Kirby Air Ride. I still have yet to kill that fricken bird that appears in Free Roam. Most of those games I played to death. Some others were:

-Chibi-Robo (Drake Redcrest FTW. Chibi-robo means Small robot)
-Whirl Tour (Noone has probably ever heard of this game)
-All the Crash Bandicoot games (Especially Wrath of Cortex)
-All of the Spyro games
-Starfox: Assault
-Sonic Heroes
-All of the Metroid Prime games
-All of the Mario Party games (Good familytime memories)
-The Hobbit
-LoZ:Wind Waker
Something funny about that last one. When you first meet Tinkle, He gives you something that allows you to connect your gameboy advance to your gamecube, to recieve help from Tinkle. I still have that attachment. Wind Waker is my fondest memory of the gamecube. I'm having a nostalgiagasm.

Remember that big snowstorm in new england? I was running my generator and didn't want to bole my ps3 or wii up so I played my gamecube. I played super smash bros all night long, until the power came back. It was soooooo fun! I remember for like my third birthday unwrapping that black cube of goodness! Geeky fooklop getting all over you!

Off topic: I just wrote fook for my name, and the spellcheck on my iPad changed it to fooklop! It knows my username o.o or is fooklop an actual word? (gets out dictionary and goes to f section) jk I don't have a dictionary xD but ima see if there's an app for that!

I have been a die-hard Sonic fan since about 1996. Keep in mind, though, that SA2 Battle and SA:DX were remakes (with new content) of the original Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 for the Dreamcast. I much prefer the originals, but the Dreamcast is for another day.

I remember my first game that i played on it was Metroid Prime 2, and boy did i love playing it.(I had previously played Super Metroid, so that just added on.) I also remember the fun i had playing Kirby Air Ride, and how much i had played it xD Overall, Gamecube is amazing. Happy birthday

I loved my Gamecube. I still love my Gamecube and play it all the time over the summer. Got it in third grade... good times... But my game collection was something like-

Madden 06 (played it so much that I now like all the music on the soundtrack)
MVP Baseball 05
Kirby Air Ride (F*** YEAH)
SSX Tricky (probably the only game I've ever been better than 99% of the population at)
Monkey Ball 2 (Another F*** YEAH)
Lego Star Wars
Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game
Crash Bandicoot the Wrath of Cortex
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (same thing as Madden 06)
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (beat it into a pulp)
Ultimate Spiderman (only thing I ever really did was jump off the Empire State Building... meanwhile I just learned it was made by Treyarch, so I love Treyarch now)
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2
Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic Adventure DX
Super Mario Strikers (played as Wario to take those super shots easier)
Oh, and I once had Luigi's Mansion but had played it at a friends house, and thus was scared to play it at my house, so I never opened it and it went back to the store.

Must say, my favorites were always the sports games and free roam things (Madden, SSX, Tony Hawk, Kirby, Ultimate Spiderman, MVP Baseballl, etc.). Goooood tiiiiimes. Goooooooooooooood tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimes.

While I'm editing- I will say that the Nintendo DS was more of the thing when I finally got to a level of comprehension of actually playing the games they were meant to be played. This resulted in me beating the living **** out of all the DS games (getting the golden fishing rod in Animal Crossing Wild World, which was possibly my greatest accomplishment ever, getting all 240 stars on the DS version of Super Mario 64... etc.) and not really ever getting too far in Gamecube games. I did get both the Dragoon and Hydra in Kirby Air Ride, but not until years later after I had gotten a Wii and an Xbox 360.

Twilight Princess was originally only meant for GameCube - Nintendo flipped the characters and the entire map to make it right-handed for the Wii version so that people could swing the Wii Remote as a sword.

The GCN version is the true original, and while it's unfortunate that you can't play it in 480p widescreen like the Wii version, it's got one cool little thing about it: At the end of the title sequence, when Wolf Link howls and the camera pans out, the graphics load is a bit too much for the console. As a result, there's a tiny bit of lag that happens, but it's so small that it just looks like an intentional slow-mo pan.

The effect it makes is really cool

I remember opening that thing on christmas day 9 years ago. My first games were Slugfest 20-03, and spider man. I remember luigis mansion (beat it twice), medal of honor frontline, and european assault, super smash bros melee, and super mario sunshine. Truly the best game system to date in my opinion. Im keeping that thing forever

Lol yeah. I never owned an N64, mostly because I was born around the time it was released, but the GBA was very hot, well the GB line it particular. I remember people on the playground still playing their GBC's with pokemon. Sorry to go off topic, but, you know.

I had it, but I really wasn't into games back then. The game boy advance was way more popular and way more influential to me. I mean the gamecube had 4 competitors, so it wasn't near the force the wii was/is. I think I played my Xbox more than my gcn.

Oh gawd, I have so many memories with Kirby Airride. I used to play that everyday. Then I'd organise schedules for Animal Crossing, make battle strategys for Paper Mario, play SSBM with friends, rave play Wind Waker, pull a all-nighter with SMS, being scared with Luigi's Mansion (Yes, that game actually scared me ), Play MarioKart Double dash soo much, I also remember being horrible at Pikmin 1/2, and playing Prince Of Persia at hotels....

The list goes on. GameCube was my favorite platform ever.
