In the year 1884, Johto and Kanto broke into war. Whether it was for a specific reason or not, was kept to the government themselves. Most information about it was hidden, and all the cities and settlements along the border of the two were destroyed due to the war. Most citizens died in the enemy raids, pokemon included. The grass of the mountains and meadows was stained with blood as the two countries fought it out with their dusty blades and tarnished arrows, brought back from years ago when they needed them.

Since the police were needed to help in the war, crime grew rampant. Murders, kidnapping, drug use, everything illegal, since there was no one to arrest them. Medical services also grew slim since they needed medics as well. Illness grew as well. Both Kanto and Johto became terrible places to live, while the other three regions remained relatively peaceful. However, the complete reason the war raged rested within the region of Sinnoh...

Within a mountain to the farthest North, residue of an ancient civilization lingered around the depths of a cave, singularly possibly the strongest machine in existence. It is said it could kill anything, though its primary reason was to merge pokemon into some kind of powerful abomination. The reason it was scrapped was because of the rate of success... If failed, it could possibly affect humans, turning the result into something even more terrible, though an uncommon result was to simply merge the two life forms, but again, the rate of success for that was even lower. Eighty of eighty one times, it was fatal.

A simple pidgey, migrating to Heonn for the Winter, stopped by the mountain. A eerie glow caught its attention. It hopped down the rocks to find the old relic machine, powered by a rotating crystal within a glass chamber. The little bird went closer to it, and fluttered over to a switch. At the same time, a Geodude noticed the bird and started to sneak up to it. It used a different chamber of the machine for a hiding place, but when it made its move, the pidgey panicked and hit the switch. There was a loud flash and a whirring sound, before what was left of the two beings was a horrible chimera. A mixture between a geodude and a pidgey, stronger than any of either species could muster. The abomination slowly crawled out of the cave and made a unsettling howl. The machine, finally powered up again, whirred to life again. Four long leg-like metal appendages extended from its body, a neck split from the front of it. This was what Kanto and Johto wanted to prevent.

The machine's shell slowly morphed and convulsed until scales, breath and blood was existent from it. A pure-black dragon, dark as the night. Its eyes had a terrifying glare in them and its teeth were as sharp as steel, yet it was a completely natural being. It was organic, yet it spawned from the machine, within the beast. With an unsatisfiable hunger, it lurked out of the cave, eagerly looking for prey. Its stomach was inbued with the machine, attempting to merge any two beings it ingests, though the failed results are merely digested. The successful ones are teleported outside, near the beast, with usually an aggressive motive, though the personality depends on both of the originals'. Two mellow beings would form a calm and collected mixture, while an aggressive and a calm combo would result in the aggressive side being the most presented.

The beast traversed the region of Sinnoh, destroying or murdering most of what it encountered. Soon, the news of this beast reached the other two regions, and with the news came the dragon. It had no home, it was made to kill, and there was more to kill in the other regions. Heonn and Unova picked up their fighting weapons too, swords and pokemon, in case the mutated lifeforms were to appear in their area as well. Or the beast itself.

However, I will not accept one-liners, such as "Herp said 'Derpderpderp'" or"Jerry walked to the pool" Put 'I have read the rules and hereby agree to them' into 'Anything Else'.

[11:] Romance is allowed if you execute it well. Poorly doing it and turning it into ERP will result in a ban from this RP. Also, no explicit scenes.
