Avatar?
I changed my avatar to .gif, but it still looks like just a still picture. I know it changed, because it changed from 64 x 64 to 100 x 100.

I got mine working.
Thanks
Well i made my avatar at http://picasion.com/ you can try it to see if the GIF you make there works also when setting the size on the site out it as 100px wide or you wont be able to upload it and if it still doesnt work you can try this post http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/how ... u-account/
my avatar is a gif you cant just change a jpeg(example) to a gif cuz the jpeg has no animation so it wont work like that
.gif is a file which enables you to add a moving picture to a power point or such you can use it for videos screencast-o-matic.com uses an optional save file as .gif for a movie so it has no real bandwidth at least not shown (gosh i sound like a science article )
No it works, and my pc can see it in my file, but just not pmc. How do other poeple have it? Anyone that actually uses an animation avatar.
It is possible that the file is to large.
If you change your picture to a .gif it won't show any animation unless you add the animation to it. *Example: Nyan Cat moving picture. You need to put different versions of the picture together to make it look like its moving. There are some sites that let you create a .gif image with pictures you made.*
I know that i have tested it by opening it up in Google Chrome but it does not work On PMC.
I've seen animated avatars on here before...so I'm sure its not that it doesn't work on here.
Honestly, I don't know how GIF's work, but you need multiple pictures, changing it to GIF doesn't do anything except give it the possibility to have motion.
It cant show animation when just on your PC. Only on Websites
Dang Anyone help?
The same thing happens to me.
