We all know the argument over bedrock vs java edition, and probably made up your mind about it.
I was wondering though, which version is better in terms of Resource Packs (texture packs)?

So, I've created a table of benefits, and I'll add any good points from the comments!

I prefer Java, because mods like Optifine can give us customization features that Bedrock already has that aren't present in Vanilla Java. Bedrock edition (to my knowledge) also doesn't have the ability to edit block models yet.

Java is the best. Much easier to adequately update and modify for either detailed or simple changes.

just curious, how would macOS help Java's case, when bedrock is on every console, smartphone, and computer, and Samsung smart fridge?

I prefer Java because most of the resource packs are for java, and I guess java resource packs are better

Java has more customization options. Bedrock sadly does not.
Long story short I NEED CUSTOM WINGS LIKE OPTIFINE!

It's important to note that's optifine, not vanilla Java

Yes, but its still minecraft, not the vanilla minecraft, but its not like a mod that truly changes the game (like Orespawn mod), Optifine just makes minecraft looks better

personally i prefer java, though this just is what im used to. i feel like most of the resource pack community is based on java, too. i also find bedrock files confusing to figure out, especially the naming, description, and that weird id thing
