if i were to buy a cheap pc at best buy then took it apart and added a better graphics card and maybe an i7 or an i5 how much might it cost
and will it be worth it?

Get some parts, build it with a loved one. Most adults can figure out how to put stuff together, there are instructions too.

video cards have a capacity to run at,theres only a certain amount of data they can process into images,maybe if you have a faster processor than a graphics card what jolleward is saying usually would be true,on the other hand if you have an amazing graphics card but the data is coming in through the processor too slowly get a new processor in which case rainbow is right,so its either one of those 2 componenets. if you wanted you could buy a computer built for gaming alienwares are nice,but expensive and the best gaming computer is the one you make yourself

Um it depends on the cost of the comp you can easily make a comp from scratch for 2k
