Creating a Spleef plugin [Need Ideas]

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to re-make Spleef for quite some time now, but never got to it till now. The reason I'm creating a forum post, is because I need ideas.

I don't want to re-create the original Spleef where you break blocks under a person, until they fall to their death. I want to add more features! But I have no idea what I could add to make it more original.

Should there be some sort of leveling system? Should there be shops to buy power-ups, which can be used during the game..?

I want your ideas, so I can make something fun and exciting to play!
