HamCraft, TheBigDig, Legendary Craft, WindCraft, and (Some other server I can't remember the name right now)
I used to (and actually returned to) a server which I loved and hated. I loved it because of the amount of players on the server, so I was never bored, but I hated it because strip clubs were way too plentiful and some donator was a self-engrossed -snip- who made a lot of people believe he was their savoir (a la Jim Jones). He used numerous builds to convince people, like a fire station that really recruited arsonists (nothing ever catches fire on my server, so they grief buildings and try to claim it was all-natural), and a literal army that 'went to war' with the 'Axis'. And this guy was the leader of it all, and named all his plots after himself.
Soon, I left because the guy was getting on my nerves and me and my friend were accused of 'harrasment' (when we were really trying to find out why the donator brainwashed so many people) and our build was deleted.
I came back later on, under a new username, and tried to start over. Now the server is much better, since the narcissistic guy doesn't come on as much.
I hope you get better, bro.

i think you can do it though cuz all of my friends back stabbed me and made me look like a jerk... irl so there was no getting away from it.

i know how you feel man, a server i would always play on named Blazingshaft shutdown.. I played on it for years and it's gone now.

I know how you feel, something similar happened to me and it harshly affected me in real life, but don't let it get you down! Things will end up working out; none of my old friends play Minecraft with me anymore, but I'm making new friends on a new server. And if you have the Skype group you'll still be able to communicate with your friends. In a nutshell: Don't let it get you down cause things will work out, stay happy and keep your chin up!
You shouldn't let something trivial as Minecraft affect your personal life. You could always find a new server, dedicate some time to that server and you could possibly find a new great server and make some new friends. Shutting down your server and not being able to play with some friends like you used to sucks, but it's not the end of the world
