if u find some diamond ores remember DO NOT MINE IT WHIT STONE/WOODEN/GOLD PICK OR ur face will look like this or like this diamonds can only be mined whit a iron pick (unless u got a diamond one)

And also too, if you're mining any type of block and it is going very slowly (obsidian is the exception) it means it will not drop anything. So you're a dumb-ass purely for going through with the mining.

It'd be kinda weird if you came across diamonds whilst using Wooden tools, I must say.
You can mine Iron with a wooden pick, I think.
