Forum "Bumping"..
I wanted to bring up the subject of "bumping" in the forum.
I see it so over-used and with poor taste and etiquette. Too often I see posts where so and so is seeking advise....showing some form of creation....or petty requests to have someone build them something for free......and then they get some replies and instead of interacting with those who reply they reply with only ....."BUMP".
I don't know what you guys think....but my thoughts going through my head are "I don't want to help this brat. Or wasting my time reading anything else of them.
This kind of use of "Bump" makes you look ungrateful. ...ungenuine....undeserving of what you are asking and an all round attention whore.
If no one is replying and no one is interested....eat it! And move on.

Bumps are completely within the rules as long as the time requirements between bumps are observed. People shouldn't be accused of being rude for bumping their threads.
When folks have responded and the OP opts for a "bump" instead of replying to those people and interacting-- which also bumps the thread, I agree. A little more consideration could be shown.

I actually have reported posts for excessive bumping... I know there was a post a few days ago with a guy looking for server host suggestions, he was given around 15 different hosts, denied each of them and posted bump every few hours...
This is exactly what I'm talking about.

I don't see how bumping a thread could seem ungrateful. Perhaps if you didn't reply to someone who helped you, like not thanking them, replying to them, or something similar. But other then that, a bump is a bump.
