I've been playing Minecraft since alpha, i have also hosted 6 servers and been moderator on two.
What are you looking for?:

Hamachi is about the stupidest program I've ever seen.
That's what routers are for!
Doesn't it just seem wrong to have to have your clients install a program to connect to your server?
