I just restarted my laptop, and now it wont turn back on.
It goes to the screen saying windows has some damaGed files, so i choose to repair it and it starts to do it then goes to a bpack screen, i have to restart my laptop to get back to he same screen.
When i choose to continue without repairing, it shows the windows logo, freezes for ten mins then sends me back to the main screen :/
Please help me!!!!

Sounds like OSRI to me!..or likely will be!....you might be able to install Linux Mint which 'might' help you retrieve your files. You can try restore point?

TIP: Partition your Hard drive and keep your system files on one partition and your personal files on another for the future....

have you installed any new software or hardware recently? are you getting any error codes?

I dunno I'm sure there is a geeked out way to recover from this...check some techy forums that are specifically tailored to your problem...best of luck!

Its likely that just Operating System (OS) is corrupted. If you create a bootable OS on a flash drive then you can copy all your old files, then re-install windows.

Info for you:

well no, the HDD itself is f****d charz, its startup files are corrupted so you would have a job getting into it.... unless you connect that HDD to a laptop that also has a working HDD and you should be able to grab files from the damaged HDD

Nope, I tried using a recovery disc too, didn't work.
Could I put my hard drive in a laptop the same, put the files on a file haring site such as mediafire, and just DL them when I get my new computer

depending on how badly corrupted the system is, you may not be able to save the files, but if you can get into the startup (by hitting F8 or F2 or whatever) that allows you to choose how to boot up windows, you can select "command prompt" and use.... DOS to copy your files to a DVD or thumb drive.

If I was to do that, would there be any way to save some files?

Sounds like windows might be badly corrupted. You should have a repair disk that came with it, or a bootable option to boot into your restore partition of your HDD to repair/reinstall windows.

You may have to get a bootable O.S. on a flash drive, boot into your computer and save all your important data somewhere else, and then reinstall/repair windows.

I know it sounds stupid but sometimes if you leave it for a day and then check it, it may start working.

Also check it isn't really dusty or anything.

Also try booting in safe mode by hammering F8 at bootup.

Tbh if you've had it more than a year I would recommend reinstalling windows. Use a bootable operating system on a flash disk to get your data off, and then reinstall windows.

If you do reinstall then create a seperate partition for windows (If its win7 give at least 50GB (51,200MB)). Then if it happens again you just reinstall on the windows partition and all your other data is still stored on a seperate partition.
