I watched the yogscast's Shadow of Israphel, and at the same time, was playing Minecraft PE, then I got the computer edition when I earned enough money (Which wasn`t hard).

When Minecraft first came out, I had seen some videos on Youtube on it, seemed like a fun, relaxing game... So I tried it, and here I am, a few years later!

Now, I mostly play with Mods because regular Minecraft is kind of boring when you know all of the recipes by heart and know what to do... You would understand, if you have played Minecraft for as long as me.

I was in love with the one game roblox first then when I was looking at roblox videos I found a minecraft video and decited to cheak it out I thought I was awesome so my dad got it for me

my brother watched syndicate and then he bought the game and then told me and i bought the game

My brother started playing the Classic version and I got hooked on that. He played alpha once and I wanted it but couldn't afford it. I stuck to Classic servers and I found one that I loved, and I learned that they had an Alpha server that I would have been able to join. I finally bought it when I could to play their server, and now here I am, no longer a NOOB.

One of my good friends bugged me constantly about it until I bought it. It did look pretty cool, my dad was just wary of it at first.

I saw someone playing it in class when we were at the computers. Looked awesome. Tried it, loved it. The next day me and my friends all had bought it and we were making some dirt houses...

Yogscast, December 23rd, 2009.

I was watching Etho play it. 5 minutes in, I started pestering mom and trying to make her buy it for me. After a bit, she bought me Minecraft.

i heard about it from my cousin, she has been playing from alpha, i got started around the time of beta 1.3, that was the update that introduced beds!

Actually, I was on goanimate (I am toyquar) and I just got back on it from playing on Roblox for a while. Then I started talking to one of my friends (RRRX or something like that) and he said "Bro minecraft is way better." Then I stated how I was Roblox for life and he said go check out minecraft. I check it out and I was like Dang it, you proved me wrong....

It just came to me. I knew that this was destined to be the game for me.

I found out about it after watching Seananners on youtube a few yers ago, then I watched the Yogscast play it so I became interested in getting an account, started playing classic, then I bought the game and here I am today.

I found it when i was looking for a new game on my iPod, then Minecraft shows up.
I have been playing for 1 year 2 months and 11 days.

I found it when i first played Minecraft PE.

I found out of minecraft because I was watching youtube vids and I always saw a minecraft vid and I got annoyed by them so I decided to watch one to see what was soo good about them.........10 minutes in I wanted to buy it

My best friend made me get it and got me addicted to it! haha good times

Well, my sister's friend's brother found out about it, told his sister, who told my sister, who told me, and so we played classic, and eventually bought an account and we shared it, but the password was only 4 chars long, so when notch made the password requierment 6, it didn't work anymore, so we both got seperate accounts, Hers became Fallon1345, and mine is now Exision13

The game's called Minecraft, not mine craft. -.-

Anyways, I had heard the name a few times, though knew nothing about it until I found PE pretty much the day it came out. A few months after that, I bought the PC version.

In 6th grade, a kid at school showed it to me during computer class.

Well, whenever I would go over to my friends house, she would show me her WoW toons ( This is also how I started WoW too now that I think about it) and then as a treat she would show me how to play minecraft. She would go on hunger games and I would help her look for people to kill...ahh..good times..

My brother showed me the classic version and I hated it. Went through Roblox, stumbled upon Atmosphir, got a code for Blockland US, bought a Minecraft card from Gamestop.
