How much Frames Per Second (FPS) Do you run?
I run about 1013+ FPS, what about you?

On max settings 300-700
With shaders ~200
It looks really nice on my 240hz monitor.

60 fps, which is well over what the human eye can distinguish. I think that these types of posts are just a place for people to brag about how powerful their PCs are.

You're wrong. Lmao, the USAF did a test on about 200 people, different random people, and flashed a picture of random objects in front of them for 1/100th of second, 1/200th, 1/300th and kept going up. Everyone could see up to about 200-350, but pilots, and other trained people could see up to as much as 500. That means, the human eye doesn't have a certain about it can see. Everyone is different, but it also proves that we can see well over 300fps, if our monitor has that high of a refresh rate. Wish you people would study this before you spew out false information,
1
^^^This proves almost everyone wrong, especially console gamers
1
The human eye actually can detect the difference between higher fps than you think. The only real limitation is the monitor's refresh rate and the person's experience.
Of course, the eye can only "see" around 24Hz but it creates more and more motion blur as the motion speeds up, so technically you're both right and wrong. Also the eye doesn't "see" any a specific number but now I'm just rambling on.

100-400 Depending on my settings

...And to your left, you'll see an entire thread of nerds with little to no knowledge of software and hardware lying about how many frames per second they can run a video game. That will conclude our tour for the day.

Well, on flat world around 50.
Normal world is 30.
PvP Multiplayer is 1-6 FPS!
(Don't worry I am getting a new computer this month )

Not sure if I've posted on this already or not, I tried looking back and couldn't find my post if I did. Sorry if this is double posting. n.n
I get about 60-130 FPS. Depends what I'm looking at or doing.
also this thread is around a month old guys eep

70 fps. dont need anymore

SeghasSloztheI cap mine off at 60fps since I know that's all my computer can show anyway. No reason to make the game work more than it has to for something my screen won't refresh lol
You could record it at 120fps, then put into slow motion for a video montage if you'd like at that framerate if it still gets that fps while recording.
True, I hadn't thought about that for recording purposes.
I decided to pop open a vanilla game and set the settings lower, and it seems I can get an easy 200 fps. I can't seem to get above 80 in my regular game, though (probably thanks to all the mods and such).
1
Average 250 FPS standard, 180 modded, and 70 with shaders.

My old laptops got around 8 - 13 fps lowest settings. I played on them for years and thought it was totally normal q-q

80+ frames per second

As a PC gamer (by which I mean I play more than just Minecraft) I find this thread atrocious.
1
Framerate really isn't everything...

Rangerduck18I run about 1013+ FPS, what about you?
I would say about 500+FPS, I cannot tell with my new rig tho, haven't completely built it, hopefully around 1000+
1
1337 fps
1
What computer do you use?
1
I didn't really get 1337 fps, it's just an image I found on the internet.]
I use a custom built computer though.

Mine is about 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 frames a sec <3

That was me before I built my PC.

I get anywhere from 15 on highest settings on The Hive with shaders to 150-250 on highest settings in single player/small servers/LAN.
I get ~1000 on lowest settings, super flat, no mobs, empty world.
So, 15-1000.

It's just showing off to go all "I get over 1000fps+" you don't need it. I'm happy enough to get between 60-300 fps that's all.
1
60,
so all of you bragging about 1000+ FPSs, don't come crying to me when you're monitor only shows 60.

I'm sure us know that most monitors only show 60hz. And no one is gonna come crying to you.
What if I have a 120hz monitor? Or a 144? maybe even a 240hz monitor?

Gamecool 10Don't get why people have 1000+ FPS though, don't think human eyes can tell the difference between that and 60.
I can easily see the difference between 60 and 120. I can see the difference between 120 and 144. (You have to have a monitor that supports it though)
Also, you guys realize that people don't just play minecraft right? They play over demanding games, which would result in higher frames in lower end games.
I normally get 200-600ish at 16 chunks, but I always lock it at 60.
1
20-50 it's not bad really unless your fighting mobs of fighting other players.

Around 300 on Max settings. Generally between 290 and 310 FPS.
1
I usually get 10-30 FPS. The highest I've ever gotten is 60, which is ok. I don't need to have 1,000,000 FPS.
1
20-60
Mainly because I use a really high quality texture pack, though
