How do i stop lying?
It's become a horrible habit. It's kind of along with a horrible other habit of procrastinating. Like, someone would tell me to do something, i'd say okay, and i juts don't. How do i stop doing this or being tempted to other things instead?

The best way I can think of to stop lying is to stop speaking.
I don't actually think lying is your problem, so much as laziness.

Well I think you should talk to somebody about it. Either your parents or guidance councilor or whatever. If it is bothering you, just talk it out.
For procrastination, get in a nice, private, comfortable spot. I would recommend your bedroom. If you have a TV, keep it OFF at all times. OR you can even have someone hide the remote from you. Get rid of all distractions. Phones, laptops, etc. Now, STUDY AND WORK AND DO DAT HOMEWORK. Do not stress it though. Maybe do it after dinner or something. Feel free to take 5 minute breaks ever 30 minutes or so.

Only lie when you are in a between a rock and a hard place, uncomfortable, or sticky situation where it might be wiser to lie. No one is 100% honest, and there probably won't be someone like that for [x] years. Lying will make people think you're someone you really aren't at times. Be honest in your normal life except for the specified times.
Take a truth serum.
It was recently a study showing that children who can lie well often do better off in life.

OP: Anyways, it just takes self control. Try to focus on small things at first that you can do to stop lying. As in being truthful on small lies that don't matter.
